The interface has three main sections: file browser, thumbnail window and preview window. The program automatically opens images in full screen with fly-out menu panels. Placing the cursor on any of the four corners displays pop-up toolbars that give you quick access to various features and details like EXIF information.
Other toolbars allow you to edit your image by cropping, resizing, rotating, removing red eye, adjusting lighting, changing colors and adjusting curves. You may choose among 11 different re-sampling algorithms when resizing pictures. The program includes special image effects like drop-down shadow, oil painting, sketch, framing, annotation, bump map and framing. It also features a healing brush and clone stamp.
You may add different objects to your images, such as texts, highlights and various shapes.
Other things you may do with your images include splitting or merging files, adding tags, creating and managing favorites list and converting images from one format to another. The program supports batch conversions.
The Thumbnail Viewer allows you to browse and select required images quickly, but you may also enjoy the musical slideshow mode, which supports more than 150 transitional effects. You may also compare up to four images side by side.
